Il Museo della Navigazione nelle Acque Interne (MNAI) è un museo archeologico e antropologico progettato per offrire ai Visitatori una più approfondita conoscenza della storia della navigazione nelle acque interne in Italia centrale.
Progettato all’interno di un impianto industriale, risalente agli anni ’50, che originariamente era adibito a mattatoio comunale, il museo è di proprietà del Comune di Capodimonte.
Il MNAI è stato creato per ospitare la preziosa piroga monossila dell’età del bronzo, rinvenuta 27 anni fa nel Lago di Bolsena, nei pressi dell’Isola Bisentina.
