Il Museo archeologico di Tuscania custodisce straordinarie testimonianze sepolcrali etrusche e romane rinvenute sul territorio dell’Alta Tuscia.
Nelle quattro sale a pianterreno sono esposti i reperti delle tombe etrusche della necropoli Madonna dell’Olivo e Carcarello.
Le sale del piano superiore ospitano i ritrovamenti più recenti delle Necropoli di Pian di Mola, Ara del Tufo e Scalette con una serie di reperti etruschi che vanno dal secolo VIII a.C. alla piena età romana.
In una sala del museo sono stati collocati gli elementi architettonici della tomba a portico colonnato di Pian di Mola.
Le altre sale del piano superiore sono occupate da una serie di interessanti sarcofagi fittili e di suppellettili tra cui diversi pezzi di ceramica risalenti al Medioevo.
